Covid-19 poses an existential threat to our ability to hold a safe and accessible election in November. In these toolkits, we provide the information activists need to conduct targeted advocacy in every state in the country and fight back against that threat.

Voters should­n’t have to choose between their health and their right to vote. With no end in sight to the Covid-19 pandemic before the Novem­ber elec­tion, we recom­mend a number of changes to elec­tion laws and prac­tices in order to make the elec­tion safe and access­ible to all, and protect voters from having to make that impossible choice. With these toolkits, you’ll be able to concen­trate your efforts where it counts the most in your state to make sure that your upcom­ing elec­tion is Covid-safe.

Each of these toolkits lays out exactly where your state stands, and where it falls short on safe voting policies impact­ing some of the most crit­ical aspects of our elec­tion infra­struc­ture; includ­ing voter regis­tra­tion, mail voting, and in-person voting. They will also help you target your advocacy for maximum impact with select resources that you can rely on and help­ful inform­a­tion about which author­it­ies have the power to imple­ment the recom­men­ded changes.
