Hazel Millard

Research and Program Associate

Hazel Millard is a Research and Program Associate in the Democracy Program, where she focuses on money in politics. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Hazel was a speechwriting intern in the Obama White House and the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General.

Hazel graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College in 2018 with a B.A. in History. For her senior thesis, Hazel researched and wrote on the significance of the Freedom Farm in the Mississippi Delta, a project founded by civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer.
