 This bill would extend the time for electors to meet and vote from the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December to the first day after the January 1 (or if January 1 is a Sunday, the second day) following their appointment. This bill would also amend the method of delivery of electors’ votes from registered mail to “the most expeditious method available” to ensure receipt by the first day after the January 1 (or if January 1 is a Sunday, the second day) following their appointment.
