In Oklahoma, four justices on the Supreme Court were up for retention—Douglas Combs, James Edmondson, Noma Gurich, and Yvonne Kauger. After the Ohio Chamber of Commerce released its first-ever ratings of Supreme Court justices, and all four candidates received low marks, a group called Yes for Fair and Impartial Judges was formed to support retention. This group ran the only television ad in the race, which cost $450,000 and was aired the week before the election.

The four justice were retained in the November 6th election.
