Sabrina Alli is the senior social media strategist at the Brennan Center. She has worked as a media strategist on grassroots campaigns to end mass incarceration and to protect tenants’ rights in New York State. She was previously a content developer at the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism, a regional destination marketing nonprofit that drives tourism to the Adirondacks in upstate New York.
She has also taught writing composition at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Columbia University, and in North Country Community College’s Pell Second Chance program at Franklin and Bare Hill Correctional Facilities. She received a BA in English literature and women’s studies from the University of Michigan and an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University.
