Sabrina Alli is senior social media strategist at the Brennan Center for Justice. She has worked as a media strategist on grassroots campaigns to end mass incarceration and to protect tenants’ rights in New York State. She was content developer at Regional Office of Sustainable Development (ROOST), a regional destination marketing nonprofit that drives tourism to the Adirondacks in upstate New York.
She has also taught writing composition at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Columbia University, and in North Country Community College’s Pell second chance program at Franklin and Bare Hill Correctional Facilities. She received a BA in English literature and women’s studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University.
