Michael Milov-Cordoba is a fellow in the Brennan Center’s Judiciary Program, where he focuses on state constitutionalism and promoting fair, diverse, and impartial courts. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Michael served as a law clerk to the Hon. Alvin W. Thompson of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Michael received his JD from NYU School of Law, where he served as the Senior Online Editor of NYU Law Review and was the recipient of the Gary E. Moncrieffe Award. During law school, Michael interned at Demos and the Texas Civil Rights Project and was a participant in the Racial Equity Strategies Clinic and the Civil Rights Clinic at NYU. He holds a master’s degree in Political Science from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought from Amherst College.
