Maya Efrati

Public Policy Counsel, Washington, D.C., Office

Maya Efrati was the public policy counsel at the Brennan Center for Justice. Before joining the Brennan Center, she worked as policy counsel for the National Whistleblower Center, where she led their federal legislative and agency advocacy work. Prior to that, Efrati worked with Represent.Us, FairVote, the Center for American Progress, and the Michigan Innocence Clinic. Additionally, she previously worked for a large congressional campaign in California, AFSCME District Council 36, and the Peres Center for Peace, among others.

Efrati received her JD from the University of Michigan Law School and her MPP from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
