Hannah Klain was an Equal Justice Works Fellow in the Democracy Program, focusing on documenting and combatting discriminatory electoral resource allocation in traditionally disenfranchised communities. Klain graduated from the Harvard Law School, where she was president of the Harvard Law chapter of the American Constitution Society and a research assistant to former Dean Martha Minow. While in law school, Hannah interned with the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program, as well as with the ACLU Voting Rights Project, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and the Campaign Legal Center. Klain graduated cum laude from Columbia University and her work after college included serving as a staff member in the Communications and Policy Departments of the Hillary Clinton 2016 Campaign in Brooklyn. Her Equal Justice Works fellowship was sponsored by the Selbin Family.
