The Partnership for Southern Impact works on the region’s most urgent public policy issues, including voting rights, gerrymandering, and prison reform. The initiative, housed at Fisk University’s John Lewis Center for Social Justice, combines the Brennan Center’s nationally recognized, nonpartisan expertise in research and policymaking with Fisk’s deep community roots, academic leadership, and historic role in civil rights advocacy.
