The Brennan Center for Justice submitted comments to the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board Board (PCLOB), recommending an end to the NSA’s programmatic surveillance under Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act (FAA).
The Brennan Center has previously has submitted comments on the NSA’s surveillance activities under both Section 215 of the USA PATRIOT Act and Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), part of the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 (FAA). We also provided both written and oral testimony for the PCLOB’s March 19, 2014 public hearing focused on Section 702.
