Lisa J. Danetz, an independent consultant, has worked in the voting rights, money in politics, and democracy fields for 20 years as a policy expert, advocate, and lawyer. Her work has focused on increasing election- and campaign-based political participation in society through public policy research, litigation, executive and legislative advocacy, and public education. Danetz has published and frequently spoken on voting rights issues, including giving testimony before the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, the Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Elections, and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Danetz received her BS from Yale University and her JD cum laude from New York University School of Law.
