Alice Clapman is senior counsel in the Voting Rights Program.
Before joining the Brennan Center, she litigated reproductive rights cases for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She has also taught, practiced and written articles in the field of immigration law.
Alice earned her JD from Yale Law School. She also holds a BA in Philosophy from Princeton University. After law school, she clerked for Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald of the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York, and for Judge Chester J. Straub of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
