Buying Time 2022 – Michigan

This page features Michigan Supreme Court television advertisements from the 2022 election cycle.

Published: September 28, 2022

In November 2022, Michigan voters will elect two justices to the Michigan Supreme Court in a nonpartisan election. Five candidates are running for the two seats: Incumbent Justices Richard Bernstein and Brian Zahra, State Rep. Kyra Harris Bolden, Paul Hudson, and Kerry Lee Morgan. Although the election is nonpartisan and all candidates will appear on the ballot without a party label, candidates can be nominated by political parties. Bernstein and Bolden were nominated by the Democratic party, Zahra and Hudson were nominated by the Republican party, and Morgan was nominated by the Libertarian party.
