Since its founding in 1995, the Brennan Center for Justice has benefited from a close relationship with the faculty and students of New York University School of Law.
NYU Law students often serve as legal interns and work on projects with Brennan Center staff through the Law School’s Brennan Center Public Policy Advocacy Clinic, a semester-long fieldwork course taught by Brennan Center attorneys. NYU Law faculty comprise one-third of the Brennan Center’s board of directors, and many professors have collaborated with the center in various capacities. The Brennan Center also hosts numerous symposia, panel discussions, and book talks at the law school each year.
