Sara Steele is a program associate in the Brennan Center’s Voting Rights and Elections Program. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, she worked as a legislative aide for Sen. Laphonza Butler, working on judiciary issues. She began her career with the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein as a staff assistant specializing in banking and finance.
Steele graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BA in global studies and Asian American studies.
