Benjamin Scott

Executive Assistant to the President, Office of the President

Benjamin Scott is the executive assistant to Brennan Center President Michael Waldman, providing executive support in all aspects of operations and logistics, including scheduling, travel, internal and external communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Scott served as a senior member of the advance team for the 2024 Harris–Walz Campaign, an operations officer at the World Health Organization in Denmark, and a presidential appointee in the Biden administration, where he split his time between the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services. He also served as the associate director of events and ceremonies for President Biden’s inauguration.

Scott holds a BA from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and an MS from Hilton College at the University of Houston, where he was named the 2025 Distinguished Alumni of the Year.
