Elizabeth Smelov is a multimedia editor and producer at the Brennan Center, where she creates multimedia and video content to support the center’s communications and advocacy efforts.
Smelov has worked as a video journalist and multimedia producer in New York for more than a decade. Before joining the Brennan Center, she collaborated with the communications team at the CUNY School of Medicine to produce videos highlighting the school’s mission to advance equity in medical education. She previously produced, filmed, and edited videos for The Wall Street Journal, covering geopolitics, markets, health, science, and personal tech. She began her career at CBS News.
She received her MA in history from University College London.
