Tanvi Krishnamurthy is a project coordinator in the Brennan Center’s Office of the President. She facilitates assistance for board relations and other Office of the President initiatives, providing logistical and administrative support for the chief of staff. Prior to her role as a project coordinator, she was an intern with the Office of the President.
Previously, Krishnamurthy was on the executive board of WKCR, Columbia University’s student-run radio station, where she led the publicity department and engaged in on-air journalism that was recognized by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Pulitzer Prize Board. She has also served as a research assistant for numerous professors in the social sciences, focusing on both qualitative and quantitative data relating to race, sexuality, and incarceration. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in sociology and a minor in statistics from Barnard College of Columbia University and is an inductee of the Barnard chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
