Lucy Walker is the special assistant to the director of the Brennan Center’s Justice Program, providing research and administrative support. Prior to joining the center, she worked as a policy program associate for the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, where she coordinated climate and environmental justice advocacy efforts for health professionals.
Walker graduated summa cum laude from Williams College with a BA in English and history. While there, she served as an executive editor for The Williams Record and was awarded the Levien journalism fellowship to intern at WETA, the PBS station for the Washington, DC, area. She also worked as a research assistant to support projects focused on social equality and climate resilience.
