Katherine Scotnicki

Research & Program Associate, Washington, D.C., Office

Katherine Scotnicki was a Research and Program Associate in the Brennan Center’s Washington, D.C. office and supported the D.C. Core team. Before joining the Brennan Center, Katherine was a Work First Fellow in San Francisco, CA, where she connected individuals receiving public assistance with gainful employment opportunities and researched best practices for supporting formerly incarcerated individuals in the workforce.

Katherine graduated from Georgetown University in 2019 with a BA in Government as well as minors in Justice and Peace Studies and French. During her time as an undergraduate student, she conducted research on access to higher education as a Research and Policy Intern at the College Promise Campaign. She also researched the impact of infrastructure policies in India through Georgetown’s India Initiative and interned at Samhita Social Ventures in Mumbai, India.
