Jinmook Kang is a former research associate in the Brennan Center’s Justice Program, where he examined the effects of criminal justice system reforms, including enforcement trends and prison conditions–related initiatives. Previously, Kang worked as a paralegal at A Better Childhood, supporting class action litigation to improve child welfare systems. Prior to that, he worked at Al Otro Lado to assist asylum seekers in Mexico and in the United States. Kang holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics and economics with a minor in French from Middlebury College.
