Rasulan Inayat-Khan is a senior associate on the institutional relations team at the Brennan Center. She works with foundation, law firm, and corporate stakeholders to drive high-impact partnerships, align engagement strategies with organizational goals, and maximize the impact of stakeholder contributions.
Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Inayat-Khan was a senior associate at Freedom House, working to advance the organization’s mission by cultivating and facilitating meaningful partnerships and identifying opportunities for collaboration and shared impact on initiatives pertaining to topics that included national security, political prisoners, and transnational repression.
Inayat-Khan previously served as a criminal justice policy analyst at Arnold Ventures, where she focused on pretrial justice initiatives, including projects addressing bail reform, public defense, and prosecution. She has also held roles in education and in the corporate social responsibility sector.
She received her BA from Duke University in public policy and international comparative studies.
