Kaylie Martinez-Ochoa is a program associate in the Brennan Center’s Voting Rights and Elections Program. Prior to joining the center, she worked at Voto Latino, a nonprofit that supports the Latino community in registering to vote. She coordinated multiple fundraising and get-out-the-vote events during the 2024 election cycle. She was also a research assistant in William & Mary’s Social Networks and Political Psychology Lab, where she designed and implemented numerous research projects about political communication.
Martinez-Ochoa graduated from the College of William & Mary with a bachelor’s degree in public policy and a minor in psychology. She served as an election officer for her hometown during that time, which sparked her interest in voting rights law.
