Annie Lo

Research & Program Associate, Democracy

Annie Lo was a research and program associate in the Democracy Program, where she focused on redistricting reform. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Lo was an intern at the House of Representatives and a summer researcher for the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute and NC Justice Center.

Lo graduated cum laude from Duke University in 2018 with a BA in political science. She was a recipient of the Benjamin N. Duke scholarship and the Robert S. Rankin Award in American National, State and Local Governments. For her senior thesis, Lo produced a quantitative study examining the relationship between racial composition of city councils across the United States and policies historically significant for communities of color.
