Electronic Registration at DMVs will go into effect in New Mexico in January 2014. New Mexico also has electronic pollbooks in at least one county.

In the past, New Mexico has considered the following VRM-related legislation:

  • Same-Day Registration. Two bills in the New Mexico State Legislature would have provided for same-day registration at early voting sites. Both bills died in session. (H.B. 123 and S.B. 161)
