Illinois Campaign for Political Reform et al. v. Illinois Coalition for Jobs, Growth and Prosperity and Illinois Campaign for Political Reform et al. v. Justice for All Foundation
Campaign Finance Reform

The Center is representing the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform and the Sunshine Project in two administrative proceedings arising from the 2004 Illinois Supreme Court elections. The complaints charge that two independent organizations, each supporting one of the two candidates, failed to comply with Illinois’s new campaign finance disclosure laws. The complaints allege that the groups failed to register as political committees and further failed to file the required contribution reports. The complaints were filed on February 9, 2005.
