Student Voting Guide

March 12, 2014

As a student, you have a constitutional right to register and vote in the place you truly consider to be “home” — whether that’s your parents’ house, your apartment, or your dorm room. But before you make the important decision about where to vote, make sure you know the rules (and sometimes consequences) of registering to vote in that state. If you have trouble viewing the above map, click on the state you want to vote from below for full information about voting and elections.

Please note that laws in some states have changed; updates to this guide are forthcoming. In the meantime, please refer to the Voting Laws Roundup 2013 for the latest voting law changes.
