In Arkansas, two candidates vied for the seat of Justice Jim Gunter, who did not seek re-election. The election was between Judge Josephine Linker Hart and Judge Raymond Abramson, who both currently sit on the Arkansas Court of Appeals. The Arkansas non-partisan judicial election was held on May 22 and Judge Josephine Linker Hart won the seat.
