Alden Wallace Joins Brennan Center Communications Team

Artist and designer set to join Brennan Center as Multimedia and Design Director

Designer and artist Alden Wallace will join the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law as the organization’s Multimedia and Design Director. Working in the Communications and Strategy division, Wallace will guide visual identity and creative efforts as the Brennan Center ramps up its public communications efforts during a crucial election year.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Alden join our team,” said Lisa Benenson, the Brennan Center’s Vice President for Communications and Strategy, “Alden understands how to use artwork and design to translate complex ideas into a visual language that engages and informs. He will help us craft a refreshed identity as the Brennan Center embarks on a new era of growth and activism to protect our democracy.”

Wallace most recently served as director of print and digital media at UNICEF USA. Prior to that he oversaw design at multiple magazines and digital publications. He has worked for Food & Wine, Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, and a variety of Condé Nast publications.

“With our country facing so many challenges, I’m privileged to bring my skills to bear at one of the country’s leading advocacy and voting rights organizations,” said Wallace. “Now more than ever, we need to be seeking creative ways to galvanize supporters and enact real change, and I look forward to helping shepherd the Brennan Center’s work doing just that.”

Wallace resides in New York City and is an accomplished painter.
