Nicole Fortier is Counsel and Senior Manager in the Justice Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law. The Brennan Center’s Justice Program seeks to ensure a rational, efficient, effective, and fair criminal justice system. Ms. Fortier works to reduce mass incarceration by conducting extensive research on systemic funding structures and criminal justice policies, coordinating policing and prosecuting support for reform, engaging in federal and state advocacy, supervising NYU School of Law clinic students and legal interns, and co-authoring policy proposals on how to improve the criminal justice system. She holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
