Michael Pelle is a Research and Program Associate in the Democracy Program, where he focuses on voting rights and elections. Prior to joining the Brennan Center in 2016, Michael interned at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and worked on prisoners’ civil rights issues at the Florida Justice Institute.
Michael graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Public Policy and Political Science. At Duke, he served as the co-editor-in-chief of the Duke Political Review. For his senior thesis, Michael fielded a survey experiment that examined the impact of race on public support for felon disenfranchisement laws.
