Katherine Storch is the Director of Institutional Relations where she leads all aspects of foundation fundraising strategy for the Brennan Center. Prior to this, she managed the Strategy and Planning team at the Democracy Alliance, a network of donors dedicated to building the progressive movement, where she monitored the work of recommended portfolio organizations and kept donors informed of their efforts and funding needs. Previously, she was an attorney at Sachs Waldman, P.C., a Detroit firm known for effectively representing labor organizations and their members and for plaintiffs personal injury law litigation.
She holds a JD from Wayne State University Law School; a master’s of European studies from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland; and a bachelor of arts in political science and history from the University of Michigan.
