John Travis

Former Research Associate

John Travis joined the Brennan Center in July 2010 as a Research Associate in the Democracy Program. His work focused on government accountability and voting rights and elections. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Mr. Travis worked for the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Lawyer Referral Service assisting Bay Area residents find legal representation. While living in the Bay Area, Mr. Travis also worked for an immigration law office and volunteered at a low income legal clinic in Oakland. Mr. Travis graduated Phi Beta Kappa from U.C. Berkeley in 2008 with a degree in Political Science.
