Jessica Katzen joined the Brennan Center in January 2016. As Department Coordinator, she served as a liaison for the Communications & Strategy department — facilitating communication between publications, digital, and press teams; managing special projects; overseeing the tracking of Brennan Center press citations; assisting in planning and executing events; and providing everyday support for the department.
Previously she supported the Communications department as Communications Assistant. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University in December 2015 with a B.A. in Government and Italian Studies. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Jessica interned at NYC Council and Lawyers for Children, and was a Research Assistant for the Wesleyan Media Project, which analyzes political campaign ads to provide real-time information on campaign finance to policymakers and the public.
Jessica left the Brennan Center in June 2018 and is pursuing a degree at Harvard Law School.
