Mr. Sample focused on the Center's campaign finance reform and fair courts projects. Before joining the Center, he worked on a successful gubernatorial campaign in Montana and clerked for Judge Sidney R. Thomas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Sample is a 2003 graduate of Columbia Law School where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone and James Kent Scholar, and a Notes Editor of the Columbia Law Review. He received a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Boston College in 1995.
