Andrea Córdova is a Research and Program Associate in the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program, where she focuses on election security. Prior to joining the Brennan Center in 2018, Andrea completed a Fulbright Scholarship in the Azores, Portugal, where she served as an English Teaching Assistant at the University of the Azores. While in college, Andrea interned at the Office of Economic and Development Affairs in the Department of State. She also interned at the BRICS Policy Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, doing comparative research on food security policies.
Andrea graduated with honors from Brown University with a B.A. in Public Policy. For her honors senior thesis, Andrea researched the implications of voting policies, perceptions, and organizations for Puerto Rican political participation in the U.S.
