The Road to Re-Enfranchisement: Advancing Rights Restoration
Wednesday, September 11, 2019 - 9:00am
Criminal disenfranchisement laws strip voting rights from people with past criminal convictions, excluding millions of Americans from our democratic process. On September 11, 2019, the Brennan Center for Justice will bring together impacted individuals, lawmakers, advocates, scholars, election officials, and leaders from law enforcement and faith communities for a discussion on how to advance voting rights restoration.

What are the obstacles advocates face as they push for change? We’ll tackle these topics and more in a productive day of organizing, learning, and conversation.
