Nirali Vyas supports attorneys on the Money in Politics team through a wide range of projects, including quantitative research, litigation support, and admin support. Prior to joining the Brennan Center in June 2018, Vyas worked at the Social Science Research Council, coordinating trainings aimed at professional development for early-career Ph.D. candidates conducting social science and humanities research. Vyas graduated from The College of New Jersey in May of 2016 with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. During her time at TCNJ, Vyas researched the effects of abandoned property on urban life in Trenton, NJ through an interdisciplinary lens of economics, politics, and sociology. She also interned at the Ford Foundation, Penguin Random House, and the Trenton Prevention Policy Board, working intensively on quantitative data projects.
