Julia Morrison is the Special Assistant to the Vice President For Development & Women and Democracy Fellow, Jennifer Weiss-Wolf. In this role, Julia works with the Development department by providing administrative support, coordinating interdepartmental communications, and assisting with research on the intersection between gender and democracy. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Julia worked as a field organizer on Carolyn Bourdeaux’s congressional campaign in Georgia’s 7th district. She also spent a year teaching English in Madrid, Spain. Julia graduated from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her honors thesis examined the role of consent in contemporary American sexual politics.
