New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine signed a bill that requires audits of election results in randomly selected districts. This past summer, the Brennan Center and the Samuelson Law, Technology and Public Policy Clinic at Boalt Hall School of Law (U.C. Berkeley) convened an audit panel to determine the best methods for states to use when conducting audits.
