Vijay Das

Democracy, Research Associate

Mr. Das joined the Brennan Center in July of 2007 as a Research Associate in the Democracy Program. He focuses primarily on Campaign Finance Reform and the Center's Voting Rights and Elections efforts. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Mr. Das was a New York City Urban Fellow in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Administration where he was a member of Mayor Bloomberg's World Trade Center Health Panel. He has also taught human rights in Costa Rica, interned with the ACLU of Northern California, and has worked on Capitol Hill as a participant in the Indian American Center for Political Awareness' Washington Leadership Program. He received his B.A. in Political Science and a correlate sequence in Religion from Vassar College in 2006.
