Emily Savner

Justice, Research Associate

Ms. Savner joined the Brennan Center as a Research Associate with the Justice Program in June of 2008. She assists the Access to Justice Project in its efforts to improve the quality and availability of legal services throughout the United States and protect the rights of non-profit organizations working with low-income communities.

Ms. Savner studied political science and economics at New York University and graduated summa cum laude in 2008 as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. At NYU she wrote a senior honors thesis on state campaign finance laws and their effects on state policy. Ms. Savner has interned at People For the American Way and the ACLU and has spent several summers working for Rep. Henry Waxman and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee in Washington, DC.
