Chelsea Slosky Miller
Development, Director of Individual Giving
Ms. Slosky Miller manages the Center's foundation fundraising activities, primarily working with a wide variety of institutional funders to support a portfolio of over $5,000,000 in grants. Ms. Slosky Miller, who joined the Center in summer 2002, also plays a significant role in other fundraising activities and strategic planning for the Center as a whole. Before beginning her career in development, Ms. Slosky Miller worked in technology for both a public relations firm and a website developer.
Ms. Slosky Miller came to the Center from Alexander Ogilvy Public Relations, a division of Ogilvy PR, where she served as creative services supervisor, responsible for all interactive initiatives deployed by account teams and clients, from pre-production through launch and maintenance, including the public website, company Intranet, client extranets and online applications of proprietary account tools. Previously, Ms. Slosky Miller worked as a website producer, responsible for the concept, development, and final launch of client projects, ranging from commercial websites and intranets to proofs of concept.
Born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Ms. Slosky Miller spent her high school years in Seattle, Washington. She has a B.A. from Smith College in Massachusetts.
