Charles X. Ombwa
Developement, Associate
Mr. Ombwa joined the Brennan Center as a Development Associate in June 2006. He currently assists with foundation fundraising and provides administrative support to the department. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, he worked at the Staten Island Institute of Arts & Sciences as a Development Associate. In addition, he also worked with World Vision, the Ministry of Health and the Community Health Department of Aga Khan Health Services (part of the Aga Khan Development Network) in his native Kenya. Mr. Ombwa received his B.Sc. in Environmental Health from Moi University, Kenya in 2000. He holds several professional certificates including Epidemiology & Biostatistics from the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan; Project Design, Research and Data Management from the University of Adelaide, Australia; and Monitoring/Evaluation from the University of Michigan.
