This Arizona case, in which the Center filed on behalf of the plaintiff, sought to review the Arizona Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the constitutionality of that state’s filing deadline for independent presidential candidates. In December 2002, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear Browne.
