Vishal Agraharkar serves as counsel for the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program. He also previously served as Pro Bono Counsel for the Democracy Program, where his work focused on voting rights and elections. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, he clerked for the Honorable Helene N. White of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Vishal received his J.D. (2010) from Columbia Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of A Jailhouse Lawyer’s Manual. He was also a summer associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, and interned at the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division and the Texas Civil Rights Project.
Vishal received his B.A. (2005) from Williams College, where he majored in Political Science.
