Sadia Ahsanuddin

Former Research Associate

Sadia Ahsanuddin joined the Brennan Center in 2012 as Research Associate for the Liberty and National Security Program. Her work centered on local law enforcement responses to terrorism, government transparency, and safeguarding constitutional rights after 9/11. Sadia graduated from Harvard College, where she studied History, co-founded and led a student-run publication, Ascent Magazine, and also co-founded a dialog group on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In the past, Sadia has worked at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society as a research assistant, where she completed a project on the effect of the Internet on Iranian democracy and society. Sadia also interned at the United Nations Educational, Social, and Cultural Organization. She has written for various online publications in the past and also enjoys teaching.
