Erica Posey is a Research and Program Associate with the Brennan Center’s Liberty and National Security Division. She holds a B.A. from University of California, Berkeley in Slavic Languages and Literatures with a minor in Public Policy. While at Berkeley, Erica worked as a research apprentice to Professor David Sklansky, focusing on the effects of surveillance on Russian society in the Soviet period. Prior to joining the Brennan Center in August 2016, she worked as a paralegal in Oakland, California at Bryan Schwartz Law, supporting their litigation work to protect employee rights in the workplace.
