Marissa Marzano joined the Brennan Center in January 2016. As a Communications Coordinator, she manages media opportunities, drafts content for both print and digital platforms, and helps execute the organization’s communications strategy. She works with the Democracy Program on voting and redistricting. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Marissa worked in marketing and communications at the Clery Center, supporting their work to prevent campus violence. She also previously interned at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and was a consultant for Beautiful Social, where she developed social media strategies for community-based organizations in Philadelphia. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of St. Joseph’s University, with a B.A. in English and Communication Studies.
