Lucy Zhou joined the Brennan Center in August 2012 as a Research Associate in the Democracy Program, where she focuses on Voting Rights and Elections. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, she worked for Relman, Dane & Colfax, a civil rights law firm in Washington, DC specializing in fair housing, fair lending, public accommodations, and employment discrimination cases. While in DC, she also served on the board of the local chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum, a national organization dedicated to immigrant rights, reproductive justice, leadership, and professional development for Asian American and Pacific Islander women and girls. Lucy graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a degree in Law, Jurisprudence & Social Thought.
